1. What do you understand by SWOT. Using SWOT analysis describe the Strength , Weakness , Opportunities and threat of company which you know closely.

SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

SWOT analysis involves identifying your business’s strengths and weaknesses, and examining the opportunities and threats which may affect you.
SWOT analysis can be used to analyze your organization and its environment.

Carrying out a SWOT analysis can help you identify changes that can be made to improve your business.
Strengths: Strengths are those features of the business which allow you to operate more effectively than your competitors.

Weaknesses: Weaknesses are areas capable of improvement. Are you lacking skills or new products? Do you have a higher cost base or lower productivity than your competitors? You must face any unpleasant truths about your business and be realistic.

Opportunities: Can you identify any new opportunities for your business? Are there any interesting trends which you can take advantage of?

Threats: Threats can be external or internal, and are anything which can adversely affect your business. External threats could be inflation, new legislation, or a new competitor in your market. Internal
threats could include a skill or staff shortage within your organization



2. Discuss most important factors for successful E-Commerce site designing.
1. Navigation. Navigation is the most important step to a successful e-commerce site. If your customers can’t find your products, whats the point of even having a site? There is none. Making navigation easy will increase your sales dramatically. If a customer can easily find what they are looking for, then you will have a happy customer, and a return customer too.
2. Design. The design of your e-commerce site can make or break it. Most visitors will simply leave a site that doesn’t look clean and professional. Think about the sites you buy online from the most. Most likely, they are clean, fun, and easy on the eyes. Now you don’t have to go out and spend $10000 on a design. Simply changing around the colors of the site can do wonders.
3. SSL. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a MUST HAVE for any e-commerce site. If you do not have SSL, expect absolutely no customers. When dealing with credit cards and customer privacy, SSL is a must have. SSL is pretty cheap these days. You can pick up a SSL certificate for around 100 bucks.
4. Customer Relations. We noticed a 5% increase in sales at our e-commerce site, simply by adding a toll free phone number to the top of the page. No one called it, but just having it their secured the customers trust in the company. Just knowing they have it there will make them feel a little better about their purchase.
5. Easy Checkout. Keeping your checkout process as short as possible is the key. Don’t make your customer enter their whole life story before they can buy your product. Keep it simple. Only require needed information like shipping address, and email.
6. Policies. We run across so many websites that do not have this information. Some people may think its not important, but it is! Simply having a privacy policy, return policy, etc posted in your site will increase customer confidence at your store. Don’t know how to write one? Head to a webmaster forum like DigitalPoint and get someone to write one for cheap.
7. Pretty Products. Who buys something they can’t see? Nobody! If you don’t have crisp/clear product images, your site will fail. Also having detailed product descriptions is a necessity when running a e-commerce site.
8. SEO. Of course, Search engine optimization is a huge factor in the e-commerce world. E-commerce sites are mother ships for ““SEOed” sites. Having a meta title, description, and keywords for each and every product will boost your rankings tremendously.


3. What is good E-Commerce security ? Discuss three key points of vulnerability in ecommerce environment.
E-commerce security is the protection of e-commerce assets from unauthorized access, use,
alteration, or destruction.
